These terms apply when you use the Bookmerang app and related services. By using the app, you agree to them. How your personal data is handled is described separately in the Privacy Policy.
You can use Bookmerang for free; on the Free plan, 30 of your saves each month are summarized, tagged and placed in a topic. Premium is a paid subscription that removes this limit. Subscriptions are bought through the App Store or Google Play, renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time in the store's subscription settings. Payments and refunds are handled by the store.

Bookmerang stores links you save from other apps and websites, generates summaries, tags and topics from their content, lets you search them and brings them back to you at the right time. Summaries and topics are generated with AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete. For important decisions, check the original source.
| Free | Saving, search, reminders and related saves are free. Each calendar month, 30 saves are automatically summarized, tagged and placed in a topic (Smart Saves). Saves beyond this limit are still stored, searchable and included in reminders; they don't get a summary, tags or an automatic topic, and you can choose the topic yourself. The limit resets on the 1st of each month in your time zone. |

We may change the scope and limits of the Free plan; we will let you know in the app in advance. Switching plans does not reprocess past saves, and saves that were already summarized stay as they are if you leave Premium.
You can cancel at any time in your store's subscription settings:
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; Premium continues until then. No partial refunds are given for the remaining time. Deleting your Bookmerang account does not cancel your subscription; you need to cancel it in the store.
Because purchases are made through the App Store or Google Play, refund requests are subject to the store's refund process and policy:
If the store approves a refund, Premium access ends. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
We may occasionally grant some users free Premium access for a set period. This access is free of charge, does not renew and ends automatically on the stated date, after which your account returns to the Free plan. Gifted access cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms.
We keep improving Bookmerang; features may be added, changed or removed. If we ever need to shut down the service, we will give reasonable notice in advance so you can export your saves.
Bookmerang is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that AI-generated summaries and topics will always be correct. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the service. This does not limit liability for intent or gross negligence, or any consumer rights that cannot be waived.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer, you keep any rights granted by the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
If these terms change, the "last updated" date on this page is updated. For significant changes, we will let you know in the app. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
